Installation Instructions

Click here to download the latest version of WordCard Generator 2.

Click the link above for the Download page. When downloading, either choose the option to 'Open' the file, or 'Save' the file to disk. If saved to disk, locate the file (WordCardGenSetup.exe) and double-click it to start Setup.

Alternatively if you are installing from CD, insert the WordCard Generator 2 CD into your PC’s CD-ROM drive. The Setup program should start automatically after a few seconds. If it does not, open My Computer and double-click the icon for your CD-ROM drive to view the contents. Double-click on the Setup.exe icon.

Once Setup has started, click Next to move through the screens. Once you have read the Licence Agreement click I Agree and finally click Install to begin the installation. When the installation has completed click Finish, and WordCard Generator 2 will automatically start. You will be asked to enter your registration details. If you wish to evaluate the software before buying, simply press Cancel at this point. The evaluation version is fully functioning except that printing is disabled and open documents display a watermark.

To start WordCard Generator 2 in future, double-click the WordCard Generator 2 icon on your Desktop.

If WordCard Generator 2 fails to fully install under Microsoft® Windows® XP, please uninstall, then run Microsoft® Windows® Installer 3.0 (available on the WCG2 CD or by clicking here) and retry.

System requirements

Microsoft® Windows® 2000 (Service Pack 3), XP (Service Pack 2), Server 2003, Vista or later.
Microsoft® Internet Explorer 5.01 or later.
Microsoft® Windows® Installer 3.0 or later.
Microsoft® .NET Framework 2.0 (will be automatically installed if required).

Required system components can be obtained by visiting Windows Update or the Microsoft Download Centre.

[Windows® 98/ME (which require Windows® Installer 2.0 or later – on the CD or click here) may work if fully upgraded, but not guaranteed / supported]

Hardware Requirements

Processor – required Pentium 90 Mhz, recommended Pentium II 450 MHz or faster
RAM - 32 MB, recommended 256 MB or higher (or the minimum required by the operating system, whichever is higher)
Available disk space – 10MB (280MB if Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 is not already installed on your system).
